For the Weekend Warriors, Weirdos & Whackjobs - Issue #29
When the boss is away everything remains gay.

publish a great piece on the value of local historians and archivists titled: "C'était une affaire terrible". What are you waiting for? Go give it a read! What Justin Read
Occult America by Mitch Horowitz (Amazon)
This is a fascinating walk through America’s long, historic relationship with the occult and some of the wilder religious zealots that sprung up. I found a lot of the connections drawn between the occult, fascism and white supremacy, in particular, quite interesting. This book was written before the era of mis and disinformation and in certain parts feels quite prescient. For those of us that are fascinated by the weird, it’s an amazing tour through some of the origins of our urban legends, strangest cults and even political beliefs.
From Our Friends: Strangest Fruit Podcast
Our friends from The Strangest Fruit podcast, and fellow innocence warriors, interviewed District Attorney George Gascón on their podcast. DA Gascón has an interesting background, an interesting story and he feels passionately that more needs to be done for the wrongfully convicted. Go have a watch and subscribe to their podcast.
Are ya tired? Wired? Just don’t be like Justin and get fired.
Enjoy yourself this weekend, you earned it.
