The ‘Shining’ is one of the more revered and reviewed horror movies of all times. From ‘Here’s Johnny’ Memes, to the unforgettable scenes of creepy twins on tricycles or a hallway full of splashing blood.
By what about the conspiracy theories and hidden meanings alleged to have been intentionally woven throughout? How closely have you looked at the baking soda brand shown throughout the famed Overlook Hotel?
Much like the original movie this documentary studies in depth—maybe a little too in-depth at times—it may leave you with your own puzzles and lingering thoughts when you’re through.
Either way, it’s a fascinating and entertaining watch for horror and non-horror fans alike.
