Did someone just say, “the Welsh Amityville?” I pondered to no one.
Sure as shit, there lies the most “Britain’s Most Exorcised Home” in the Brecon Beacons, and I had never heard of it before. The style of this podcast is that dramatized-historical-fiction that the BBC is so good at, and while not my favourite style, personally, I actually really enjoy the treatment the give it in this case.
The rest will start to sound familiar. Isolation, financial pressure, and a myriad of incredibly strange events. Exorcists. Doors slamming.
Yet, there is enough difference and the uniqueness of the setting that drew me in immediately.
