Ann Leatherdale, a neighbour, teacher, and believer in the unseen, led spiritual circles and shared the teachings from a thousand-page book called A Course in Miracles. Her door was always open, the coffee always on. Then, one November night in 1990, she was found dead in her bed.
Police couldn’t agree on what happened. The papers stopped asking. The story faded into the prairie wind.
