I was "aware" of the consequences of coal mining in that area, but your investigation was fascinating. I am currently experiencing the horror of many other consequences of ignoring the realities of environmental and social destruction that we accept as economic necessity as I watch the fires, migrations, and floods planet wide. Part of my horror is the refusal of those with power to even speak the words. I fear we may well have already lost the opportunity to change many outcomes.
